How Voxera used Fluar to build a competitor intelligence system that runs on autopilot
Voxera needed to track 50+ competitors across pricing changes, feature launches, and hiring patterns. They built a fully automated monitoring system in Fluar that surfaces actionable intelligence to their product and sales teams weekly.
We went from a messy spreadsheet that nobody updated to a living competitive intelligence dashboard. Product uses it for roadmap decisions, sales uses it to handle objections, and leadership uses it for strategy. It's become our single source of truth.

The Challenge
The AI voice space moves fast. Voxera was competing against well-funded startups and big tech incumbents, all shipping features at breakneck speed. Their competitive intelligence process was a shared Google Sheet that was perpetually out of date.
Product decisions were being made on stale information. Sales reps were caught off-guard by competitor features during demos. The marketing team was reactive instead of proactive. They needed a system that could keep up with the pace of their market.
Why Fluar
Voxera tried dedicated CI platforms but found them expensive and opinionated, forcing rigid workflows that didn't match how their team actually worked. What they really needed was a flexible data workspace where they could define exactly what to track and how.
Fluar's combination of web scraping, AI analysis, and API integrations meant they could build a custom CI system that pulled data from competitor websites, job boards, review sites, and social media, all processing through AI to extract structured insights.
The Solution
Voxera set up a Fluar project with each row representing a competitor. Columns automatically scrape pricing pages, feature lists, job postings, and G2 reviews on a weekly schedule. AI columns then analyze changes, summarize new features, and flag anything that needs immediate attention.
A dedicated "threat score" column weighs multiple signals like new funding, aggressive hiring in specific roles, pricing changes, and feature launches to prioritize which competitors need the closest watching.
The output feeds into a weekly Slack digest for leadership and a real-time dashboard that sales reps check before every call.
The Results
Within a month, Voxera had the most comprehensive competitive intelligence system they'd ever had, built and maintained entirely by their marketing ops team. No engineering involvement, no expensive platform contracts.
Sales win rates against tracked competitors improved measurably as reps could proactively address competitive features. Product was able to respond to market moves 3x faster, shipping reactive features in weeks instead of discovering the need months later.
The flexibility is what makes Fluar special. We built exactly the CI system we needed, not the one some vendor decided we should have.
